Fallout Three Review

Fallout has won the E3 game of the year award that says it all really but here’s my review.

Fallout 3 starts you off coming out of womb as a baby at this point you see your dad, you then get to decide your name and what you look like, then suddenly you here the heart monitor and your mum is quickly rushed of to surgery, she later dies from childbirth. After this dramatic scene a year later (correct me if I’m wrong) your in your play pen this is were you decide your attributes such as perception, strength, agility and so on, so when your dad leaves you, you escape from the pen and read the little book, then your dad comes in and start rambling on about some shit that is not necessary. next you are 10 and its your birthday you are awarded the pip boy 3000 this device comes in handy during the course of the game in fact you wouldn’t survive without it, you also receive a BB gun and 50 rounds of ammo. Your 16 or something and you have to do your goat test whoopee Na it’s shit you have to answer some questions and they decide what your future job will be or you can fuck the results and change them anyway. OK so your Dad escapes from the vault and everyone goes into a big panic from the rad roaches OMG!!!… anyway you have to escape from the vault by killing lots of people or not… basically just get the fuck out of there. Well that’s the beginning to the game, i liked the part as a baby because I don’t think any other game has done that before so yeah but it was a bit to long and time consuming and gets boring but that’s just my opinion.

The creatures of the land of fallout 3 are you could say exotic they are mainly just mutated animals from our time such as the bloat fly probably came from a bee or a hornet and a yao gui came from a bear. To be honest there is a wide variety of animals but no quite wide enough even just adding in a couple more exotic predators would have made it a lot better i just want more stuff to kill

Now this is where it gets exciting, the main storyline of fallout 3 ive heard people say is too short but i think its just about right, it has lots of fun missions to complete during the course of the main quest and lots of stuff to kill and things to scavenge to earn your caps, which leads me on to the items that are available there’s hundreds of unclaimed valuable items to be found around fallout such as the experimental MIRV probably the most destructive weapon in the game, or hundreds of mines to sell or trap your enemies.

So overall fallout 3 is a brilliant game and i highly suggest you buying it if you haven’t got it already ill give it an 8 out of 10. Thanks for reading Folks
