Final Fantasy Xiii Chocobo Treasure Hunt
This is a guid to help you get the Treasure hunt Achievement/Trophy on Final Fantasy XII on the xbox 360/PS3.
As we all know, Final Fantasy is one of the longest and best sold games of all time. And would it be complete without the lovable Chocobo? Of course not. In Final Fantasy XIII, Chocobos can be used to help you dig up treasures and reach areas that your party cannot get to. And of course, these little creatures are amazing for maneuvering around the areas quickly and helping you do those all important missions that we all so long to complete all of. Which by the way you will get an achievement for if you complete them all, so get going!!
First things first, you’ll need to complete mission 12 to be able to access the Font of Namba area in the Archlyte Steppe. This will unlock mission 14 which, when done, will give you Gysahl Reins, unlocking the Chocobo area and to let you ride them around to your little hearts content.
Jump on board one of the cute little creatures. Now you are on a Chocobo, you can treasure hunt. While you’re running around, keep an eye out for the Chocobo to have an exclamation mark above its head in a little white speak bubble. This means there is hidden treasure to be dug up nearby. Keep turning in different directions until you see the way that it moves the fastest (the bubble that is) and just run untill you find the dig promt.
These are some of the treasures you’ll pick up;
- 1 Digs = Gold Nugget
- 5 Digs = Tetradic Crown
- 10 Digs = Tetradic Tiara
- 15 Digs = Entite Ring
- 20 Digs = Ribbon
After you have claimed the ribbon for you own you will then be awarded with your Achievement/Trophy. Ribbons in the Final Fantasy series are used to make you immune to all status effects, however in this one, it is just a 20% ressistance, but level that bad boy up to full and you’ll have one heck of a team!
