Flyff Blade Guide

A indepth guide to making any type of Blade.

Blades, are clad in hard shiny armor and are seen as the assassins of Roika. Blades duel wield with axes or swords. Fighting with a Blade does not necessarily mean you have to use two of the same axe or sword. You can mix and match by giving each hand a different weapon. Your main hand is your right hand (appears on top in game) will deal the most damage, while your offhand is for your defense. Blades are the fastest killers in the game by far, however to be successful in this job you need penya, and lots of it. Blades need some of the most expensive equipment to take their impressive attack speed and damage to the next level.

So now we know that to be a Blade your going to need a huge amount of capital, what else do you need?

As Blades suffer from low hitpoints, your going to need to be able to make friends with assists. An assist will be vital to your survival both while grinding and while killing those overgrown giants for some cash.

Firstly lets talk about starting off.

Starting as a vagrant is boring. Very boring and therefore I’m not going to talk about it. What you do as a vagrant really doesn’t matter one little bit. You get a restat and reskill so you are able to re allocate those points when you become a mercenary, the first step to becoming a blade.

Builds

Ok so you have done your first job change quest, and your a mercenary, time to start grinding to level 60. But first you need to decide what type of blade you want to become. There are a few options, each of which are good at different things and require different equipment to help their cause.

Firstly, the most popular among the higher levels is the – Full Strength Blade. Like the name implies, all your stat points will go into strength, giving you phenomenal attack bonus. However, this build may kill the fastest but your going to need highly upgraded equipment to be able to cover for the lack of defence, attack speed and hit rate. Only choose this build if you have played Flyff before and can support the character. Also if you know you will be buying GPotatos, this is the build that you will get the best return from.
