How to Find a Dubious Disc in Pokemon Black and White

As with numerous other evolutionary items in Pokemon Black and White, the Dubious Disc is a one-in-the-game type item that, when held by a traded Porygon2, transforms the pokemon into a PorygonZ. A powerful pokemon, this, and worth collecting – so how do you find the Dubious Disc in Pokemon Black and White?
In order to collect a Dubious Disc, you’ll need pokemon with both Surf and Cut, as well as the capacity to use them. You may also want Fly, as the location of Dubious Disc is a little distant from other towns, and you’ll probably not want to cross all the terrain again.
Head back to Nuvema Town at the beginning of the game and proceed onto Route 1. Once there, check the west side of the route for a beach. Surf from the beach to the south and you’ll find a guard house leading to Route 17. Note that the trainers past this point are all above level 30, so be prepared for some tougher fights.
Go west onto Route 17 and use the water slipstreams to proceed further west. Use the southernmost slipstream to find an island, which constitutes most of Route 18. Wander through Route 18 to the middle, where you’ll find a house. Go down the nearby ramp, then head north and northeast until you reach the top of the island. Keep going east.
Eventually you’ll reach a new beach. Go down onto it, then Surf east onto Route 17. Use the slipstream here to flow out to another, smaller island. (Be careful not to get swept back to the Route 18 slipstreams or you’ll have to start over.) This island is home to the P2 Laboratory, and inside you’ll find the Dubious Disc.
