How to Find a Shiny Stone in Pokemon Black and White
It may not evolve many pokemon, but the Shiny Stone is still a valuable component of any complete Pokedex. Discover how to find a Shiny Stone in Pokemon Black and White with this quick guide.
As with the other evolutionary stones, there are currently four ways to get a Shiny Stone in Pokemon Black and White, depending on your version of the game.
- The first is on Route 6, not far from Driftveil City. Proceed along the route until you find a normal house. Inside you’ll meet a young boy who will hand over a Shiny Stone.
- The second is in Dragonspiral Tower. You can easily find it on the third floor, where you have to jump from platform to platform. It’s recommended to get this on your first visit, as there aren’t many reasons to return to the tower afterward.
- The third can only be gained if you have Pokemon Black. For this stone you’ll have to build up the population of your Black City, which will trigger the merchants in the central building to offer expanded inventories – including the evolutionary stones like the Shiny Stone. Pokemon White owners will have to settle for trading.
- The final option for getting a Shiny Stone in Pokemon Black and White is looking for dust clouds in caverns. These will, very, very rarely, yield up Shiny Stones. More often they’ll give other, minor items or even pokemon battles, so don’t rely on this method unless you have no other choice.
