Minecraft 1.7 Update: Underground Ravines

 Now everyone knows that cave exploring in Minecraft can be a pretty dangerous task (unless your on peaceful.) because you don’t know what will come around the corner wanting a hug and to blow up in your face. But in the new update of Minecraft which is currently in development by the Mojang team, cave exploring will get a lot more dangerous so grab your gear and get ready for Ravines.

 In two posts by Notch he stated the fact that Keeping 1.7 secret is frustrating and hard work. I feel a constant need to spoilerize. which will most likely mean that something else just as awesome is in the works for Minecraft. Also on the last part of that post he put: Anyway, I added underground ravines. and then shortly after that tweet he posted: Here’s a pic: imgur.com/YNhtV ( Opens in a new window) and I have to say that the picture taken looks pretty awesome.

 The amount of things you could do in the Ravines are endless, you could do things like build underground cities in the natural rock formations in the Ravine, or maybe take part in one of the challenges that are bound to come up maybe involving how long you can stay in the Ravine on Hard Mode with nothing but a wooden sword.
