Puddle Reviews: The Walking Dead Game: Episode Two
For 400 MSP you can continue your story with The Walking Dead, but how does the episode compare to the first?
Hello its Puddle here AKA Freebee Hunter and today I will be reviewing The Walking Dead Game Episode 2: Starved for Help which can be purchase from XBLA for 400 MSP and for £3.99 on PSN/PC.
Story
The story in Episode 2 appears to be a little shorter than the first episode, however its makes up for its short length with some great gameplay and tension as your group is struggling for food and trying to keep alive. The game starts where the previous episode left of in the Motel and takes place several months after the first Episode ended, since then a new member has joined the group and the tension between some character has not changed one bit. (NOTE: The Walking Dead is a game that you the player determine, based on your decisions in Episode 1 you may encounted different issues, with different characters.
I won’t post alot about the story to keep this short review spoiler free but what I will say is that in this episode you will encounter hostile enemies, new friend and discover several new secrets that add to the story.
Gameplay
The gameplay is exactly the same as the previous episode which is in a Point and click style game. There is plenty of places and objects to look at through the course of the game. The audio and voice acting is also very good and believable which adds to the experience.
Achivements / Trophies
All the achievements/trophies can be earned by simply finishing the episode.
