To understand Fitness, Stamina and Energy
FIFA Manager 2006 is developed with new concept of fitness, energy and stamina. This article explain the difference and effects of all these physical abilities. And help you to understand them.
EA sport give new approach in FIFA Manager 2006. This approach give the manager description about how the players will play on the field. Players performance will not only depend on their ability such as technique, passing and shooting but also depend on their physical ability. In FIFA manager 2006 physical ability divided into three kinds, fitness, stamina, energy. All oh these terms seem almost the same, but you knnow for sure that they have several diffrences.
In this article i will try to explain to you the diffrences between fitness, stamina and energy. How each of these physical abilities affect your player on field. And how to develop each of these physiclal abilities.
Definition of Fitness, Energy, and Stamina
In this section i will try to define the terms of fitness, energy and stamina. Base on these definitions we will be able to observe the differences of above physical abilities.
Fitness: I define fitness as good physical condition, fully healthy, feel no pain when you wake up, and injury free.
Energy: Potency to accomplish all job in a day. Its just like food for a human. I will give you an example about diffrences between fitness and energy. Imagine two boy wake up with healthy condition in the morning (same fitness). The boy named A have breakfast before he go to scholl. The boy named B didnt have breakfast before he go to school. In school A has more potecy to gain higher achievement than B. A will be able to answer theacher question, do his exam well, and write notes while B feel hungry. This can be happen because A has more energy than B.
Stamina: Effectiveness in using energy, the ability to maintain energy. I will give you an example about diffrences between energy and stamina. Imagine two boy wake up with healthy condition in the morning (same fitness). The boy named A have breakfast before he go to scholl. The boy named B didnt have breakfast before he go to school. In school A has more potecy to gain higher achievement than B (A has more energy than B). But A waste his energy a lot,(chating with his friends, playing foot ball before he enter his class room etc), while B concentrate in his lesson. Though A has more energy than B, he can be tired in short time.
In FIFA Manager 2006, fitness and energy can be found on first team window while stamina can be found on player details. Its obvious for us that fitness and stamina can be developed through group training while stamina should be developed individualy.
Effect of Fitness, Energy and Stamina
You can observe effects of each physical abilities when you watch the 3D match in FIFA Manager 2006. Below i will give you alist of effect that i observed through 3D match.
Fitness:
Player with higher fitness level usually be able to pass and shoot more accurate. Avoid miss time tackle. Avoid injury. Direct his headers to his teammate. Dribble through enemy player without being tackled (also depend on player dribbling ability and enemy man marking ability)
Energy:
Player with higher energy will be able to run faster and cover more distance. Jump higher and win more headers. Longer passing distance. Shoot and tackle harder. More aggresive, always chase ball that rebounced from goal keeper.
Stamina:
Player with higher stamina usually will not run when he is in offside position. Losing his energy slower. Good ball anticipation for 90 minutes. Will not kick the ball out when he surrounded by enemy. Never make desperate shoot.
Physical abilities development
All of these physical abilities shoul be developed continously. Stamina development should be assigned from individual training session. It better when all of your players has almost same satamina rating. Focus to your player whose stamina rating below the average af all of your players.
To develop fitness and energy rating, the total of all fitness point in one week should be higher than 1. To maintain energy, always warming down before and after match, and after fitness base training session.
