Swords and Sandals Two Complete Walkthrough

The only full walkthrough of the addicting flash game Swords and Sandals 2.

Game Summary

Swords and Sandals 2 is an RPG-style gladiator flash game. In it, you create your own gladiator and battle your way to the top, gaining fortune and fame. Throughout the course of the game, you level up and can purchase stronger weapons and armor.

This game is very fun and addicting, and I believe it deserves a walkthrough. You can play the full version of the game for free here (opens in new window).

Starting a New Gladiator

When you first start the game, your first job is to create your gladiator. You will encounter a screen looking like this.

Choose a cool name that you like. It can be anything you want, have fun with this.

Skin Color, Hairstyle, Stubble

Again, this is all for you to decide. Make him look like a true warrior or like a crazy clown. You get to decide this one.

***Skill Points***

This is probably the most important section of the guide so read carefully! First I will give an overlay of all of the different skills.

Strength – The most important skill in the game. This determines how much damage your hits count for.

Agility – Another important skill. Used to determine how far your character moves with each step, and how            well he can use ranged weapons.

Attack – This determines how often you hit your opponents, depending on their defence level.

Defence – This determines how often your opponents hit you, depending on their attack level.

Vitality – This determines the total number of hit points, (HP) or life that your character has.

Charisma – This determines how well the crowd is enjoyed by your performances, and affects the payout   at the end of each match.

Stamina – This determines the amount of energy your character has to use before he is forced to waste a turn to recover some.

Magicka – This determines what spells your character can buy to devastate their opponent.

Leveling Up Your Character

After hours and hours of experimentation, I have deduced that you only ever level up four skills to have an almost invincible character. They are Strength, Agility, Attack, and Defence. Leveling up any of the other four skills are deemed pointless. This is why:

actully no if you have full charisma it is better cause your tants are way more succsesful and can do about 100 damage at level 20 charisma and you get so much gold you can buy tons of armor this will maake your charactor completely invincable

The ratio means for every 3 points on str you put 2 on agi and atk and 1 of Def

actually no. taunts are a bad strategy. the strategy is made up most of pure luck, since there is no guarantee the taunt will hit, especially in the first few battles so you can easily die, plus not every taunt will be noise damage. it can also make the opponent charge at you, which is a big problem if he get close. another thing is you have to put points in agility and stamina if you want to use the taunt method, and even some points in vitality or strength.

well, about charisma, if opponent has drawn melee weap, then taunt will knock him back or do damage, if he has ranged weapon drawn then he will charge you, so taunt are by far most powerful thing in the game. In fact taunts are affected by enchantment on your weapon so at level 48 with 90 charisma i do about 300 damage by taunt have 30% chance on doing enchantment damage (about 400) i raised agility, stamina and vitality, so my character can run from enemy and endure even almost mortal critical hits … problem is, when you encounter enemy with high charisma, but even though i never lose
