Runescape is very addictive, once, it had poor graphics, but now, it is a java based online game, meaning that you don’t need to download anything. This is a well made 3D game, now with improved graphics. With an affordable $5.00 monthly charge for membership compared to other multiplayer games. Unfortunately, some players choose to use the chat to socialize (date) or say offensive phrases.  Because of this unfortunate flaw despite the swear blocker, I am rating Runescape a 4/5 for player enjoyment.

Adventure Quest, Mechquest and Dragonfable 2/5

The games Adventure Quest, Mechquest,  Dragonfable are able to be played online, and are filled with puzzles, jokes, and adventure. All made by Artix Entertainment,  Adventure Quest, Mechquest and Dragonfable is a one person strategy game. You can  choose to upgrade to a premium account for $20.00 (one time payment). These games are not in 3D, and are made for ages  -12, with the exception of Dragonfable, which is very developed. I am giving Adventure Quest, Mechquest,  Dragonfable a 2/5 for player enjoyment.

I think this is a very fun game. You are a character in a world with just a town and a dungeon. Your character also has a pet, cat or dog, which can change forms if you feed it fish. The main part of the game is the Dungeon.  The dungeon has infinite levels, but your goal is to kill the boss (random) who is on a level (random). The boss and the level it is on is given to you by the mage near the entrance of the dungeon. Once you kill the boss, you are given the option to retire. RETIREING WILL MAKE THAT CHARACTER UNPLAYABLE; but that character will pass on any item as an “heirloom”.  FATE is 3D, and there are millions of weapons with abilities to find or create. The reason I am giving this game a very low 2/5 rating for player enjoyment despite the very reasonable price of $19.99; is because cheats have made this game very easy. A new player can become a level 99 (max level) in a few seconds. However, if you don’t use cheats, this game is very, very fun.

Starcraft  4.5/5

Starcraft is the ultimate strategy game, you can choose between the mysterious protoss (my favorite race) the nomadic terran (humans) and the infectious zerg (cool bug things, you can make a lot in a short time).  In this game, you send your gatherers (zerg drone, protoss probe, terran SEV) to mine minerals and collect vespeine gas. These are used to build buildings that will allow you to create more units. The gatherers are not good fighters, but they are the most important unit to keep you in the game. Your main objective is to destroy all of your enemy’s buildings with fighting units (I can’t list them all because there are so many). But beware, you opponent has fighting units of their own too, once all of your buildings are destroyed, you lose. There is also a map creator, which allows you to make your own battlefield. This game is the best strategy game I have ever played. Released in 1996, this game has surprisingly good graphics, and most stores sell this and the expansion for $19.99. The only problem is that this game is not 3D, but a new Starcraft 2 is coming out soon.
