Being developed and published by Square Enix, directed by Tetsuya Nomura, with music from Yoko Shimura and singer Utada Hikaru, you’d think Kingdom Hearts would be worth the while. You may think it’s too kidish, since the Disney Characters, but the if you actually play the game, you won’t even notice it, especially if you’re enjoying the game. The game also consists of Final Fantasy Characters. The series features known celebrities, such as Haley Joel Osment (Sora), David Gallagher (Riku), Jesse McCartney (Roxas), Hayden Panettiere (Kairi), Christopher Lee (Ansem), Willa Holland (Aqua), Jason Dohring (Terra), Mark Hammil (Master Erquas), and Leonard Nimoy (Master Xehanort).
The first game ever made from the series was Kingdom Hearts, but the first game in the series is Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep. Kingdom Hearts was first released on March 28, 2002 in Japan, September 17, 2002 in North America, and November 15, 2002, everywhere else. Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, Kingdom Hearts, and Kingdom Hearts 2 each have a final mix, where a new game is made and more objects are added exclusive in Japan. In Kingdom Hearts (1), the game centers on the main character Sora. He and his friends, Riku and Kairi set up a raft to leave the islands he lives on, Destiny Islands. The three want to discover new worlds, because they think that the one they live in is small for them. One night, creatures start attacking Sora. Discovering he summoned the keyblade, Sora now has a mission to close all the keyholes in each world and to destroy the creatures.
