The Top Five Games of 09 for Pc

What are the top 5 games in 2009. Some of them are great fun and some aren’t so good. So here are the top 5 games on PC:

NUMBER ONE

Call of Duty 6 (or MW2, COD6, COD42 or Modern Warfare 2) is the latest released game of the Call of Duty series (as of 13th of November 2009) and was very anticipated by the Call of Duty fans after the very poor release of Call of Duty 5. In this game, you should expect great graphics and a very good game play. This game was changed quite a lot on the multiplayer level as Activision got rid of dedicated servers using a match making only. This made it quite hard to play multiplayer with a select party as they used a match making system to match up people together. Other problems include: a short campaign mode and a mode where the player joins a group of terrorists to attack innocent civilians. Other than that, the game is quite good.

NUMBER 2

Left for Dead 2 is another newly released game. It was rated R18+ but that still doesn’t stop people under-aged from playing it. Because it was rated R18+, the full version was not released in Australia as Australia does not allow R18+ games for some reason. Instead they censored a lot of the content. If you would like to get the game in Australia, I’d recommend buying it overseas through the Internet or through torrents. This game has quite decent graphics and has a great story mode.

NUMBER 3

Dragon Age : Origins is another recently released game and was rated very good by all reviewers scoring mostly in the 9s. This game is a role playing game unlike the first two games and uses races and classes. It is a great game with pretty good graphics and a great game play.

NUMBER 4

Empire : Total War was released early in the year. It is the 5 game in the total war series. Like the other Total War games, it has great graphics for the time and is a great source of information for people studying history using (mainly) correct dates and troop names (not General, captain or admiral names). In this highly anticipated game, ship battles can be fought (unlike in the previous game) and the battles are much more epic and on a large scale. This is great game for everyone.

NUMBER 5

Torchlight is yet another newly released game. It’s layout much like Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War series and War Craft 3. It has good graphics and a great game play. I would recommend this game to people have played those games and to everyone who is looking to try something new.
