The Virtual World of Kaneva

 Although what I am about to show you is extremely awesome, do NOT become addicted to this game. There is a line between Virtual and Real. Don’t cross it!

 There is currently an up – and – coming online game. FREE! This game is not like others such as Runescape or World of Warcraft, no. This game is unique right down to the bone. This virtual world is called Kaneva, where you can make your life long dreams true in a virtual world.

1.Starting Out

First, you will need to create an account. This can be done at www.kaneva.com.  By doing this, you will create a profile. Now, some people, including me, don’t like to give out personal information. Well you don’t have to. You choose what is shown on your profile. But enough of that. Now to the second part of starting out.

2. Downloading Kaneva

First, make sure your computer meets these requirements:

• Windows XP or Vista
• 400MB hard disk space
• 512 MB RAM
• High-speed connection
• Nvidia 5200 series / ATI X700 series or faster graphics card
• Intel or AMD 2GHz or faster processor
• IE 6.0 or Mozilla Firefox 1.5 or later

Now we can start to download Kaneva. That is, IF you have met the above requirements. This can be done by clicking here. Now this download probably will take a while to download.

3.The Virtual World
 Now there should be the Kaneva icon on your desktop. Fire it up. You should get a screen that looks something like this. (Please note that it could change when later versions come out. This is from late 2009.)
 Now type in the email you entered when signing up and the password you entered when signing up. Now we can get started. JUST KIDDING! It will take sometime for Kaneva to load the first time you load it. 

Now that it is loaded, we must first create your avatar.

Now you must choose a house. Scroll over the choices you see to find out more about the houses and choose the one you like best.

Now that you have a house, the real stuff begins. You can move around with the arrow keys. There is also an on screen guide. You should follow it to find basic rules – and – earn rewards.

Extra VITAL info:

- There are a difference between credits and rewards. Rewards are earned by Dance Party 3D, Ka – Ching, designer fame, and other events. With rewards, you can by anything you want to that was made by Kaneva themselves, which is a whole lot. However, whatever you buy with rewards you can’t sell. If you buy stuff with credits, which can be bought, you CAN sell stuff but. You can also buy user – made items which can be pretty cool. However, I have never bought credits. There is another way to earn credits. That way is to create and design objects. This can be done on the Kaneva website. However, if you choose to do this option be sure that your design is original and unique, or else it will not sell.

- This is about Ka – Ching. In this game, you are playing with Nerf guns. The object of the game is to find coins and submit them into the ring. The team who reaches 50 coins first or has the most coins when time runs out wins. This is the way you earn the most Ka – Ching fame. You can get bigger guns throughout the game. There is the main gun in which you start out with. IT is fast at shooting, but only shoots one bullet at a time. Then there is the Sweeper. It shoots about 3 bullets at a time. However, it is pretty slow. Then, there is the Bazooka. It kills someone instantly. However, ammo is hard to come by, along with the gun itself. To switch between weapons you get, use the 1, 2, and 3 keys. In the game, there are also health packs and invincibility for a short amount of time.
