Three Playstation Two Games Still Worth Playing
The time of the Sony Playstation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii have come, but there are still some Playstation two games worth playing.
More and more people are upgrading their consoles, playing the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii instead of previous consoles like the Xbox, Playstation 2 or Gamecube. Each month, fewer games are being released for older consoles. Despite this, there are still plenty of older games for these consoles that are definitely worth playing, even today. Today I’ve decided to write about three of these games, all of which are in my gaming library and are Playstation 2 games.

Gran Turismo 4
It is only natural for a Gran Turismo game to make this list. Gran Turismo 4, “The Real Driving Simulator”, was released in early 2005 (January-March around the world) and is the best driving game available on the Playstation 2 (and possibly any system). This game is absolutely massive, featuring over 700 cars, 80 manufacturers and more than 50 tracks. This game also introduced the new “B-Spec” mode. In this mode, players take on the role of a team director. They let the AI control the car, but tell it when to overtake, when to pit in, when to push hard and when to drive more conservatively. A must own for any racing enthusiast, or even any gaming fan in general.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
Many people enjoyed Vice City more than San Andreas, but I’ve always had a great love for San Andreas (even now with GTA IV on the market). It wasn’t that the storyline was spectacular or the graphics amazing, or even that I could make CJ fat, or thin, or musclebound. No, it was because of something simple. I loved breaking into the airport and stealing the passenger jet. I loved being chased by police jets. There was something so satisfying about this. The game was absolutely fantastic outside of that too, and should be in every true gamer’s library of games.

Time Crisis 2
This game is hardly a classic. Infact, it is really just a ported arcade game. So why does it find itself on this list? Because you get to use a gun in it. No, not like every other game. You can actually get a gun that you point at your screen and shoot. If that’s not fun gaming, I really don’t know what is. The game came packaged with the G-Con 2 gun, and featured improved graphics from the 1998 arcade release. The Playstation 2 port of the game was released in 2001.

You insulted time crisis 2, Hailed GTA and GT4,
“Because you get to use a gun in it. No, not like every other game. You can actually get a gun that you point at your screen and shoot. If that’s not fun gaming, I really don’t know what is”
thats just Snob Elitist and wickling
