A really cool first person shooter for the ipod. Many weapons and realistic fighting patterns. For the ipod, it has some of the greatest graphics i have seen yet.  Not a new game but i think it earns this spot. You’ll like this game if you like “Counter-Strike” and “Halo” and “Call of Duty”. This game has rocket launchers, snipers, tanks and a bunch of rifles. I love how you can drive the tanks and run people over. I think it is a great game but a little pricey.

Pocket Tanks Deluxe

Developer: Blitwise Productions, LLC

Cost: $4.99 (There is a free version, with less weapons)

Pocket Tanks Deluxe is similar to many other of its kind but with many key strong points. It is a game of multiple players where you must find the correct angle and power to hit your opponent. I believe that the BEST strong point that this game has is its variety of 105 weapons. Here are a few:

Jackhammer, Heat-seeker, Tracer, Pile Driver, Spider, Sniper Rifle, Napalm, Hail Storm, Chain Reaction, Firecracker, Tommy Gun, Mud Pie, Pin Cushion, Cannon ball and many,many more. 

I think this game definitely earned its way into this spot.

The Sims 3

Cost: $9.99(there is a free sampler as well)

A fairly new game. Just like any other Sims game. You make your own person, have your own house, get a job and meet other Sims. I like this game because of how similar it is to the original PC game. It is very fun and interesting because you can make your Sim just like you and experiment with him. The graphics are alright but overall it is a great game and you should try it!

The game every phone and now ipod needs! Test your puzzle solving skills with this game and enjoy the exiting bonus round! Even try to win       $1,000,000! A great game but just because its Wheel Of Fortune.

1 vs 100

An exiting trivia game. As you get more questions right, you eliminate more of “the mob” and for every person you eliminate in the mob, you get a changing amount of money. You don’t know the answer? Don’t worry! You get three helping life lines to get you out of those unsure questions. An extremely fun trivia game based on the TV show. Its exactly like the TV show and has decent graphics and sound. Its good for its price.

Baseball Superstars 2009

Developer: Gamevil Inc.

Cost: $2.99

An amazing RPG. You make a character and take him through a league. After each season you get paid and can buy new items for our character to make him stronger, faster or a better hitter. Do missions to earn G-Points which you can use to get power ups and special moves. Unlock special characters. There are many modes such as league, mission and season. The graphics are actually rather simple, but the game is so good that you wont even pay attention to the graphics.

Bejeweled 2

Developer: Popcap Games, Inc.

Cost: $2.99

A great strategy game. Almost exactly like the PC bejeweled, a fast paced game of getting 3 similar jewels in a line and destroying them to be replaced by new jewels. This goes on to get combos of 4 and 5 jewels at a time and getting special jewels for the combo. This is for anyone who loves these kinds of games. Good graphics for this kind of game, could be better. Also, the control is very good.

I Dig It

Developer: InMotion Software, LLC

Cost: $.99 (really good)

Also a really new name, you might not have even heard of it yet. A game similar to the PC game “Motherload”. You are a mining drill vehicle thing and you dig downwards looking for minerals and fossils and such to make money. You get upgrades for your vehicle to allow it to go deeper and faster. An exiting RPG. A really great game for its cheap price.

Real Racing

Developer: Firemint

Cost: $9.99

An intense racing game with absolutely amazing graphics and control. Join championships and win cups throughout your career. Compete with a local connection or sync your scores to see where you place worldwide. You will be stunned when you see the graphics of this game. The only downside is the expensive price ($10) but if you can get this, I would definitely suggest buying this game.

F.A.S.T. Fleet Air Superiority Training

Developer: SGN

Cost: $10(expensive but believe me, its worth it)

The game I gave the #1 spot is FAST. A high paced fighter jet game. Similar to “Ace Combat” for PS3 and Xbox. The graphics are amazing and the control is just fantastic. You chase down enemy jets and get them locked on. Bam! You launch 2 missiles and watch as the enemy plane gets turned into dust. But wait! You are locked on and a missile is coming at you! Shake your ipod to launch some flares to lose the missiles or just hit the afterburner button and watch as your jet zooms! I love this game. You unlock new planes and can vs your friends on local network and do missions.
