There were two games that didn’t make the list that should have. One being Fallout 3, and the other Fable II. Most of the games you see here are dated before 2008. There’s a few reasons for this. Also, Fable II may have been fun, but it had a weak storyline in comparison with these other titles. Great game… just didnt quite flow with the rest of the titles.

As for Fallout 3, the review would have been virtually the same as Oblivion. They use the same game engine, same story structure, same “Sandbox” gameplay, and were developed by the same company. The only difference being the setting and added features in Fallout 3. If I could rewrite this, I’d post it as “Oblivion/Fallout 3″

I don’t think I would have put secret of evermore here. You should have put Secret Of Mana in place of evermore. Now that was a good action RPG just like Kingdom Hearts was.

    Hey Storm Jackson,

Believe it or not, I came across this dilemma. I loved Secret of Mana! But there is a reason why it’s not on the list.

Notice how each game has it’s own review that explains what made that game so unique. The problem with Secret of Mana is that it shares too many aspects with other games already on the list. It has the same gameplay style as SoE, turn based battle system as the Final Fantasy, and a similar storyline to Lufia. Secret of Mana is a great RPG, but just didn’t “fit” with the flow of the article.
