Top Five PSP Games
The PSP may not have been the best of the handheld gaming systems in the market, but it still has a couple of solid releases. This article will go over my top five PSP games, in no particular order.
The PSP has been out for about 7 years and while not the best handhold in the market, it still had solid releases. With the dawn of the PSP GO and the end of the PSP era, it’s time to go over the top 5 releases the PSP had.
Number: 1 Daxter

Daxter was my very first PSP game, since it came with my PSP. I popped in the UMD and immediately took a liking to it. This game finally brings back the platforming element to the Jak and Daxter series. It’s graphics were also amazing, and the sound and music was gorgeous sounding. There is also so much to do and even reason to play it again. Daxter was a great game and raised the expectations for the PSP with amazing graphics, controls, and audio. If you own a PSP platformer lover or not this game is a can’t miss.
Number 2:Mega Man Maverick Hunter X

Being a Mega Man fan since the first game, and since Mega Man X was one of the best games in the series and my favorite Mega Man. So when I heard another Mega Man X was coming out for PSP i rushed over to the store and purchased my copy. Mega Man Maverick Hunter X is total remake of the original with a huge graphical boost. It is a great game for long time Mega Man fans and players new to the game as well.
Number 3:Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories

GTA: Liberty City Stories is amazing it totally blew my mind and changed the way I looked at the PSP. It provides an open world sandbox game that one could only expect on something like a PC or traditional console. It’s everything that you expect out of a GTA game, only portable!
Number 4:Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker

I’m not really a big fan of Metal Gear Solid, however since my friend gave me this game I thought I’d try it out. I had a fun time playing hide and seek with my enemies and fooling around testing out what Metal Gear Solid is all about. This game was absolutely awesome, I am glad I decided to take it. The game is massive and has much to do, if you never played Metal Gear before might as well try now.
Number 5:Monster Hunter Freedom Unite

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is a tough game, I still can’t beat it and I’ve owned the game for 6 months now, and have played over 70 hours of it. Monster Hunter is as it says you slay monsters, with huge swords, bows, and spears. The game is focused on completing missions to get crafting materials to craft weapons to kill more monsters and then finally get more materials to craft again. The game is highly focused on grinding and is not quick or easy, however completing missions and getting new gear after 3 days of grinding really gives someone a sense of accomplishment.
