Torpia Two
A Massive Muliplayer Strategy Game that features Thousands of Players Building Cities an Armies to Wage War Against Each other. Good Verse Evil sets the Stage for the Battle of the Scrolls. Torpia two is a time based Game Played Online through a Browser an can be Compared to Games like Risk or Chess.

Torpia 2- an online strategy based browser game, that feature’s a medieval setting. Players have the option from either choosing Good or Evil. Each side depends on the other for trade an it is one of the dynamics of game play. Good an Evil Players must trade to get the resources need to build, upgrade an defend there cities. The War is over special scrolls that are hard to make, an require both Good an Evil to work together to produce them.

The game Torpia 2 is not about fighting Good or Evil as they need each other to survive. As You progress through the game, You will build what is called a brotherhood lodge. Once completed You can start Your own brotherhood or join one. This is the real battle, brotherhoods can make scrolls, the more members the faster they can produce them. You need all the scrolls to win the game. Brotherhoods wage war to steal scrolls from other brotherhoods. With thousands of players an hundreds of brotherhoods, Torpia 2 puts massive armies up against each other in an all out War for the scrolls.

Torpia 2 does not have any fancy 3D graphic’s, it is a strategy based game like chess. Everything takes time, from building cities, to producing weapons there is a set amount of time before they are completed. At first the time to build is a few minutes but as You upgrade each building to a higher level, it takes longer to be constructed. Each new level offers better buildings to be built an production resources to increase, such as weapons or the troops that carry them.

Above is a typical evil city. Evil players are the military of the game. They build all the armies and can attack or defend cities. They can also donate troops to good players. Each city that is attacked by an evil player gives that army loot which is tranported with them back to Your city. There are several different type of troops evil players can build:
- Axe Warriors
- Bowmen
- Cross Bowmen
- Pikemen
- Hoblars
- Battering rams
- Swordsmen
- Mangonels
- Knights
- Trebuchets
Just like buildings each unit takes a certain amount of time to produce, this ranges any where from 1hr to 72hrs to complete. The higher the building level is the more troops You can produce from that building, it is a good idea to upgrade a good amount of Your Troop buildings before building troops or it will take a real long time to raise an army worthy enough to take down a big city or defend off an attacker. The main resources evil players can harvest are food, wood an stone which is needed to upgrade an build. However evil players can not harvest gold or iron ore an need to trade with good players for that resource. Gold an Iron is used to upgrade building once they reach higher levels.

Next is the good city. Good players are the weapon builders an resource gathers of the game. Evil players can not build weapons, just as good players can’t produce the troops that carry them. It is a good idea to partner up with a few evil players an give them weapons in return for defense of Your city. Good players can harvest food, wood, stone, gold an iron ore all of which can be traded for defense. Some of the items an weapons good players can produce are:
- Bows
- Lances
- Crossbows
- Shields
- Swords
- Horses
- Iron Bars
- Gold Bars
- Timbers
- Gold coins
Weapons are produced by using these resources: timbers an iron bars or a combination of both. Good player’s can turn gold an iron ore into bars, which are used to make coins shield or swords, that are required to upgrade to better weapon & troop production. Good players also have the unqiue ability to make trade carts, an trade with all other players, which evil can not. Evil players can get trade carts by either stealing them or by trading with good players. Trade is an ecential part of the game, without it You will find it hard to survive.

Trade being a big part of the game, it might be best to take advantage of it. In addition to trading among close cities, players both good an evil can use the built in trade system. You can buy or sell Your resources, an in most cases get some good deals to progress Your cities development. There is a couple problems with using the built in trade feature first off You need trade carts. Individual trade carts can only carry 250 item’s at one time. To be productive an trade for the best or most item’s. You will need hundreds of trade carts an there not cheap to make. Getting rid of resources that Your not using for ones You need, will definatly put you ahead of the game.

Game play is rather simple both good an evil are given 1,500 of the basic resources an from that need to build there cities up by upgrading an producing food, wood an stone. Each city has a total of 25 building spots (good players also have an iron an gold mine an a place to build a defense wall). Players must build different building to unlock others, some also need to be upgraded to a certain point before You can construct new ones. There is several different buildings, some of the most common ones are used for food an weapon production, storage an troop housing. All the buildings have a purpose an unlock others. But You must build wisely or risk running out of room. Everything is laid out in a simple to use point an click interface. Anything You produce can be view in Your towns overview, so You know exactly what You have an what you need.

Torpia 2 maybe not be an action packed free for all or even have 3d graphics. But what it does offer is real time strategy on a massive scale. Liken to the game risk on steroids. Torpia 2 is purely about making the right decisions, building the strongest cities an armies. Making friends an partnering up. Fighting for dominance an uterly destroying others, with the ultimate goal of winning the game. It is all about thinking ahead an planning out, what needs to be done to become victorious.
