Ultima Online: Stygian Abyss

One of the biggest additions to Ultima Online is the new gargoyle class. The gargoyles have long been a part of the Ultima mythology and with the Stygian Abyss expansion you now have the chance to play one.

The gargoyles have many features making them a new and exciting race in the world of Ultima Online. Your character will be able to fly into special areas only the gargoyles can reach. You will also be able to go berserk, forsaking defense for increased power and speed when you attack.

Stygian Abyss introduces several new skills to the world of Ultima Online as well. Now you can learn to imbue items with magic and dismantle them into their magical components. The Mysticism skill gives you access to new magic and powers. And the throwing skill is introduced along with three new throwing weapons into the mix.

There are three new areas introduced to Ultima Online with this expansion including the Stygian Abyss itself; the largest dungeon in the game to date. With all of the new monsters and foes also introduced, Stygian Abyss adds a huge amount to the Ultima Online game.
