Max Payne 3: Background

Max Payne 3 is the third release in the popular series, Max Payne. It is the first of the series to be released on Next Gen gaming consoles. This third person shooter game is based on the response of the hero to the tragedies that took place in his life earlier in the game. He has lost his loved ones and is having difficulty coping. He is no longer working in law enforcement and is addicted to pain killers.

Max took a job in Sao Paulo, Brazil, protecting the family of a wealthy business man. He is still searching for the truth and is unable to get a handle on the events around him as things keep spiraling out of control. He keeps on being put in dangerous situations and each new one seems worse than the one before it.
