Sherlock Holmes Captures a Crook and Plays a Trick on an English Dignitary

Count Negretto Sylvius stole the Mazarin stone, one of the crown jewels of England. Sherlock managed to solve the case, but he did not know where the Mazarin stone was. By a clever trick, he found that the stone was in a secret pocket of the count. After the recovery of the Mazarin stone and the arrest of the criminals, he played a practical joke and Lord Cantlemere, who had a low opinion of Sherlock’s powers and did not want the government to hire him to solve the case.
