Free Copy of Pokemon X and Y!

Beginning yesterday, March 1, you may be eligible to get a free copy of either Pokemon X or Y!
All that is required is:
– Club Nintendo account
– Unregistered 3DS/3DS XL/2DS
– Unregistered copy of Animal Crossing: New Leaf OR Super Mario 3D Land OR Mario Kart 7 OR Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D OR Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins OR Yoshi’s New Island
– Internet connection on your 3DS
– About a half hour of your time!
To begin this promotion, you must have the original paperwork to both your 3DS and the game you wish to register. The serial number on the battery panel on the back of your 3DS is not the pin number you need to register.
Log in to your Club Nintendo account (or create one, if you haven’t already. This account is completely separate from the Nintendo Network ID, which you may have on your 3DS) and on the front page, enter either serial number into the appropriate box and begin your registration process, which includes filling out a survey asking basic questions like, “Why did you purchase this? Was it a gift? etc.”
After you have registered either the 3DS or the game, you should receive a pop up saying that you are halfway there to obtaining your free game. Proceed to regsiter the next item, and you’re qualified!
If you have followed the steps correctly, you should find an option in your to-do list to receive your code. Or, you may get a pop up like I did. You select the game of your choice (either X or Y version) and you will be taken to an order confirmation screen. You can have the 16-digit code sent to your via e-mail, or you can access it directly from the site! If you ever need to, you can go back to your order inquiries page on your account and view the code directly from there.
Now, open up the eShop on your 3DS. Scroll all the way to the left of the screen to redeem your code – enter it, and it will automaticallly bring up the game you selected and give you the option to download. Remember, the Pokemon X and Y games take up roughly 14,000 blocks!
